Description Leidos is excited to announce an opportunity for a Senior Network Engineer to join our team in support of the Advanced Battle Management System's (ABMS) Digital Infrastructure (DI) Network Manager program. In this critical mission, you will work alongside the Department of the Air Force (DAF) to enhance and operationalize the ABMS Digital Infrastructure. Your role will focus on providing comprehensive training, both theoretical and practical, tailored for the ABMS DI Network capabilities. The ABMS initiative is a pivotal modernization effort for the DAF, serving as the foundation for a network-centric approach to battle management in cooperation with all branches of the Department of Defense. This collaborative endeavor is known as Joint All-Domain Command and Control (JADC2), which aims to empower U.S. forces, allies, and partners to rapidly collect, analyze, and act on vast amounts of data—outpacing adversaries in responsiveness. This position will involve a combination of remote work and on-site presence at our Orlando, FL office, adopting a hybrid work schedule. Primary Responsibilities Deliver engaging and informative lectures along with hands-on technical training sessions focused on ABMS DI-Network systems. Facilitate the deployment of network system upgrades at various field locations, both within the continental U.S. and internationally as required. Oversee and manage SD-WAN architecture, ensuring operational efficiency and security updates are implemented effectively. Administer the Secure Vector Routing tables, including the collection of requirements for traffic prioritization and routing. Guide and mentor team members on nuances of network architecture and configurations. Provide regular management updates regarding the status and performance of the Digital Infrastructure Network. Basic Qualifications U.S. Citizenship is required, along with a minimum of a Top Secret security clearance. A BA/BS degree or equivalent experience along with 12+ years of relevant expertise. Direct experience in training roles focused on system networks or related technical subjects. Expertise in network engineering, architecture, and automation. Hands-on experience in configuring, activating, testing, and analyzing various network systems. Proficient in the following technologies:

Python scripting development Elasticsearch / Logstash / Kibana Linux systems administration Windows systems administration

Ability to influence the design and implementation of solutions that meet strategic project goals and operational needs. Experience leading technical teams on integrated project teams (IPTs) or cross-functional teams to achieve significant project outcomes. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a knack for team collaboration and building relationships. Preferred Qualifications Previous experience with ABMS, JADC2 initiatives, or other U.S. Air Force programs. Knowledge and practical experience with SD-WAN technologies. Ability to obtain TS/SCI clearance. Background in Software Engineering, including the creation and execution of test cases for software products following agile methodologies. Experience with testing and deploying in commercial cloud platforms (e.g., AWS) and familiarity with DevOps tools. Pay Range $112,450.00 - $203,275.00 The Leidos pay range for this job level is a general guideline and not a guarantee of compensation.
