Site Manager Reports to:

Roanoke Plant Manager Job Summary: The Site Manager is a senior operational leader responsible for overseeing all daily manufacturing activities at the Troutville facility. This role ensures efficient production execution, promotes a culture of safety and quality, and drives continuous improvement initiatives in alignment with plant-wide and corporate objectives. The Site Manager serves as the highest on-site authority, collaborating closely with the Roanoke Plant Manager and cross-functional teams to deliver operational excellence. Key Responsibilities: Lead all on-site operations, ensuring production, safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives are consistently achieved. Manage and develop on-site leadership, including shift managers, production supervisors, and support personnel. Drive operational improvements through process optimization, lean manufacturing practices, and performance tracking. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks, leveraging data analysis and continuous improvement tools. Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure alignment with plant goals. Partner with engineering and maintenance teams to enhance equipment performance and minimize downtime. Enforce strict adherence to OSHA, environmental regulations, and internal safety protocols. Collaborate with the quality team to uphold product integrity and respond promptly to any deviations or customer concerns. Support budget development, cost control, and capital planning in coordination with the Roanoke Plant Manager. Mentor and coach staff to support career growth, employee engagement, and succession planning. Promote a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement throughout the site. Qualifications & Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, Operations Management, or a related field strongly preferred. 7–10+ years of progressive experience in manufacturing, including 5+ years in a leadership capacity. Proven ability to lead high-performing teams in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment. Expertise in Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and operational excellence methodologies. Strong financial skills with experience managing budgets and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Proficient in using production data to drive informed decision-making and continuous improvement. Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills; able to influence and collaborate at all levels. Advanced knowledge of ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office Suite. Experience in the transformer or electrical manufacturing industry is highly desirable. Position is primarily based on the shop floor in a hands-on, fast-paced environment. May require flexible hours, including weekends or extended shifts, depending on production demands. Seniority level
