Mammography Technologist - ARRT (M)
As a Mammography Technologist, your primary responsibility will be to conduct high-quality mammography exams to support the early detection of breast cancer. You will ensure patient comfort, safety, and confidentiality while collaborating with a dedicated healthcare team to deliver precise and timely results. Additionally, you will play a crucial role in educating patients about the procedure and helping them feel at ease throughout the process.
Key Responsibilities: Perform mammography exams according to established protocols to ensure the highest image quality. Prioritize patient comfort and safety throughout the examination. Operate and maintain mammography equipment while adhering to safety standards. Properly position patients and explain procedures to help ease concerns. Review patient history and ensure accurate completion of all necessary documentation. Assist in preparing images for interpretation by radiologists. Maintain a clean and organized mammography suite. Follow radiation safety protocols to minimize exposure. Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure exceptional patient care. Stay current with advancements in mammography techniques, equipment, and safety standards. Qualifications:
Must be a Registered Mammography Technologist (ARRT) with current certification. Valid state licensure in Colorado. Experience in mammography or diagnostic radiology is preferred. Strong understanding of mammography procedures and safety protocols. Ability to address patient concerns with empathy and professionalism. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to perform efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Capable of working independently and as part of a collaborative team. Benefits:
