We are seeking dedicated and compassionate ARRT Radiology or Limited License X-Ray Technicians to become pivotal members of our passionate healthcare team.
ABOUT WASHINGTON REGIONAL URGENT CARE:
Washington Regional Urgent Care operates six convenient walk-in centers in Northwest Arkansas as part of the Urgent Team family, providing quality and affordable family healthcare. Our centers, accredited for excellence, are open seven days a week, delivering comprehensive services for injuries, illnesses, and wellness care.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Radiologic Technician will conduct x-ray examinations, ensuring patient safety and comfort while utilizing knowledge of anatomy and physiology. This role includes operating diagnostic equipment, film development, and preparing for procedures. Full-time employees typically work a rotating schedule of 36-40 hours per week, which may include 12-hour shifts and alternate weekends. PRN (per diem) roles are also available as needed.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
The following duties are expected but may vary:
Warmly greet patients and efficiently communicate wait times and next steps.
Address patient inquiries and seek assistance in urgent situations.
Conduct follow-up calls promptly to address any patient needs.
Assist with patient check-in and check-out processes as needed.
Accurately document patient vital signs, history, and other critical information.
Support patient transfers and assist with procedures under provider supervision.
Ensure timely execution of radiology procedures for physician evaluation.
Maintain quality control to guarantee high-quality imaging standards.
Prepare patients for procedures, adhering to safety and regulatory protocols.
Maintain and troubleshoot equipment, reporting any issues.
Continuously enhance diagnostic imaging skills through ongoing education.
Keep up-to-date with licensure and certification requirements.
REQUIREMENTS:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- BLS Certification
- AR State X-Ray License
- ARRT Certification preferred
- Experience as a Medical Assistant is a plus
