is searching for a dedicated, full-time Ultrasound Technologist to become part of a highly-regarded acute-care hospital team near Brownwood, Texas!
Salary : $61,799 - $85,699 per year
Primary Responsibilities: Patient Preparation and Positioning : Prepare and position patients for ultrasound procedures, ensuring they feel comfortable and secure throughout. Ultrasound Equipment Operation : Expertly operate ultrasound equipment to capture clear, high-quality diagnostic images. Work Schedule : Three 12-hour shifts from Thursday to Saturday, 8:30 AM to 8:30 PM. Image Analysis : Review and interpret ultrasound images to aid in accurate diagnoses and support treatment plans. Recordkeeping : Keep comprehensive records of patient histories, procedures conducted, and diagnostic findings. Collaborative Care : Work closely with physicians, radiologists, and healthcare staff to discuss imaging results and assist in creating patient care strategies. Equipment Maintenance : Regularly check and maintain ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality, promptly addressing any issues. Patient Interaction : Clearly communicate the ultrasound process, address patient questions or concerns, and provide any necessary follow-up instructions. Requirements:
Completion of an accredited Radiology or Ultrasound program. At least 1 year of experience in ultrasound. Certified through ARRT or ARDMS. BCLS certification. Texas Medical Board MRT license or ARDMS certification. Professional appearance and demeanor. Strong commitment to handling confidential information with care.
