Jobright.ai Leidos has a new and exciting opportunity for a Sr. MarkLogic Developer in their National Security Sector's Cyber & Analytics Business Area. This role provides Agile DevOps support to mission-critical systems by designing, developing, and implementing applications utilizing MarkLogic databases and participating in all aspects of the software development lifecycle. Responsibilities: • Design and develop solutions integrating MarkLogic with existing enterprise platforms and systems. • Develop and direct software system validation and testing methods using Junit and Katalon. • Develop and integrate custom software solutions leveraging automated deployment technologies; while supporting the Agile software development lifecycle following Program SAFe practices. • Analyze (though proof of concept, performance, and end-to-end testing) and effectively coordinate Infrastructure needs driven by developed software to meet customer mission needs. Qualifications: Required: • 4+ years of hands-on application development utilizing the MarkLogic framework. • Strong analytical and design skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into efficient and effective technical designs within large-scale, well-structured enterprise environments. • Significant experience in the development of service-oriented architecture applications. • Good understanding of Object-Oriented Design and Design Patterns. • Significant experience implementing the MarkLogic java-client-api within an enterprise application. • Significant experience with Java and data processing, manipulation or querying (SQL and NoSQL). • Bachelors with 8+ years of relevant experience or a Masters with 6 or more years of relevant experience. Will consider work experience in lieu of a degree. • TS/SCI with a polygraph is required for consideration. Preferred: • Experience developing in or deploying to AWS.
