Overview
As a Microsoft Data Center Program Manager, you will troubleshoot service incidents, manage assigned projects to meet service delivery objectives, and escalate issues to appropriate stakeholders to remove obstacles. You will also follow safety policies and procedures, participate in root cause analysis (RCA) of incidents, and build a solid understanding of data center procedures. This role involves collaboration across various teams and mentorship within data centers by sharing best practices.
Microsoft's Cloud Operations & Innovation (CO+I) powers our cloud services. As a CO+I Data Center Project Manager, IT/Network, you will play a key role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for services like Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and Microsoft Azure. Responsibilities
Demonstrate conscientiousness on cost and adhere to budget requirements, contributing to staying within budget. Follow safety and security policies and report issues immediately. Perform troubleshooting for service incidents, escalate as needed to meet SLA/OLAs with minimal disruption. Recognize potential customer impact, communicate it, and plan accordingly. Proactively review schedules to avoid conflicts. Manage relationships with clients and suppliers, ensuring expectations are understood and met. Suggest ways to reduce risk during maintenance and coordinate scheduling. Hold yourself accountable for service quality, customer experience, and safety.
