Conversion Implementation Specialist

Job Description Job Description **ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES ** The Conversion & Implementation Specialist plays a pivotal role in supporting new client onboarding through data conversions, ERP implementations, and database configuration. This client-facing position requires a unique combination of technical expertise, analytical thinking, and relationship management. The ideal candidate brings deep familiarity with oil & gas data structures and ERP systems, along with the ability to translate legacy systems into clean, validated environments that support long-term business success. JOB DUTIES Data Conversion & Migration Lead and execute full-cycle data conversions from legacy systems into oil & gas ERP platforms Review and validate incoming client data for consistency, accuracy, and completeness Design and maintain ETL workflows using tools such as Alteryx, SQL, and Excel Document mapping logic, configurations, validation processes, and audit trails Client Implementation & Communication Participate in weekly client-facing calls to gather requirements, manage timelines, and provide project updates Serve as a key technical resource and point of contact for assigned client projects Coordinate with internal Accounting, Land, and IT teams to ensure aligned implementation efforts Project Management & Support Configure client databases according to internal standards and project specs Monitor timelines, flag potential risks, and proactively escalate or resolve issues Assist with one-time data projects, audits, or cleanup initiatives as needed SKILLS Advanced Excel and SQL skills Experience with Alteryx or similar data blending/transformation platforms Strong understanding of oil & gas accounting and land data structures Excellent communication skills and client-facing presence Strong problem-solving mindset with acute attention to detail Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in a deadline-driven environment QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Information Systems, Business, or related field Minimum 5 years of experience in oil & gas ERP implementations or accounting systems Experience working with oil & gas ERP software (e.g., W Energy, Quorum, Pak, Excalibur, BOLO, etc.) Prior consulting or professional services experience (preferred) Familiarity with additional ERP systems or third-party conversion tools (preferred) POSITION BENEFITS Be part of a growing team working with top oil & gas clients Gain hands-on experience with leading ERP platforms and large-scale data projects Work in a collaborative environment with strong cross-functional support **** ADDITIONAL NOTES This description outlines the core responsibilities of the role but is not exhaustive.
