Koniag Data Solutions, LLC, is seeking a highly skilled TALEND Architect to design, implement, and optimize our data integration solutions. The ideal candidate possesses deep expertise in the TALEND platform with strong technical leadership abilities to drive enterprise-level data architecture initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker who can translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions while ensuring data quality and governance standards are maintained.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:

The TALEND Architect will lead the design and implementation of enterprise data integration solutions, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust data architectures. Principal responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Design and implement complex data integration solutions using the TALEND platform

Develop enterprise data catalog solutions to enable data discovery, lineage tracking, and metadata management

Create and maintain data architecture documentation and technical specifications

Establish best practices for TALEND development, testing, and deployment

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams

Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to understand data requirements

Optimize existing TALEND solutions for performance, scalability, and reliability

Ensure data security and compliance with regulatory requirements

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends

Participate in technical planning and design review sessions

Education and Experience:

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related technical field

7+ years of experience in data integration and ETL development

5+ years of hands-on experience with TALEND platform

Desired Education and Certifications:

Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field is an added bonus

Professional certifications in TALEND or related technologies

Required Skills and Competencies:

Expertise in TALEND platform, data architecture, system integration, cloud platforms (if applicable), and enterprise-level data governance

Experience with data governance frameworks

Strong understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT processes, and data warehousing concepts

Proficiency in SQL, and experience working with various database systems (SQL/NoSQL)

Experience in developing and implementing enterprise Data Catalog solutions

Knowledge of data quality management and data profiling techniques

Understanding of metadata management principles and practices

Experience with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent communication and presentation skills

Ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders

Experience working in Agile development environments

Desired Skills and Competencies:

Familiarity with Talend Data Governance and Quality tools

Experience with cloud-based data platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)

Knowledge of big data technologies (Hadoop, Spark, Kafka)

Experience with data visualization tools

Understanding of machine learning and AI concepts

Experience in healthcare, finance, or government sectors

Familiarity with regulatory compliance requirements (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) and data stewardship

Previous experience in a consultative role

Ability to obtain security clearance if required
