Description Position Summary: We are seeking a passionate and driven community engagement and workforce outreach focused individual to lead efforts in building sustainable pipelines of talent by strengthening partnerships with underrepresented communities, diverse groups, schools, and community organizations. This individual will play a key role in representing the Asplundh brand and mission, ensuring we attract candidates who reflect the communities we serve.

Key Responsibilities:

Build and nurture relationships with community organizations, schools, and workforce development programs, with a focus on underprivileged and diverse communities. Design and execute targeted outreach initiatives to engage veterans, leveraging their unique skills and experiences to enhance workforce diversity and support successful transitions into civilian careers. Serve as a brand ambassador to promote our mission, commitment to safety, and career evolution opportunities across local communities. Develop and implement community outreach and engagement strategies to create a steady pipeline of talent. Collaborate closely with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and local administrative teams to align community recruiting efforts, participation and workforce needs. Organize and participate in community career fairs, school events, and networking activities. Track, measure, and report on the success of community partnerships and outreach programs. Support the broader Talent Acquisition team with full lifecycle recruiting as needed. Demonstrate a deep understanding of cultural competency, adapting outreach approaches to ensure respect and authentic engagement with individuals from diverse backgrounds and belief systems. Qualifications:

2-5 years of proven experience in recruiting, university relations, community outreach, workforce development, or a related field. Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field. Strong relationship-building skills with the ability to engage and influence diverse stakeholders. Passion for advancing diversity and equity through talent strategies. Excellent communication, presentation, and organizational skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating across teams. Ability to travel up to 20% to schools, community events, and local partner sites.

Preferred:

Experience working with underrepresented communities, educational institutions, or nonprofit partnerships. Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS) (e.g., JobVite, Greenhouse, Lever, iCIMS, Workday) and recruitment and data reporting tools.
