Project Engineer

We are seeking a self-motivated and technically competent Project Engineer (Structural and Construction Works) to join our team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong willingness to learn, a proactive mindset, and the ability to work effectively under minimal supervision. You will be responsible for overseeing structural and
general construction activities on site, ensuring that all works are carried out in compliance with approved drawings, specifications, regulations, and project timelines.
Key Responsibilities
Liaise with consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and vendors to ensure smooth project execution and timely completion in accordance with contract specifications and local regulations. Plan, coordinate, and supervise structural and construction works on site. Ensure compliance with design specifications, approved method statements, and safety standards. Review and interpret structural drawings; proactively resolve technical and construction-related issues with consultants. Monitor construction progress against the baseline schedule; maintain daily site records and contribute to monthly progress reports. Ensure that quality control procedures are effectively implemented and adhered to on-site. Oversee site teams and subcontractors, ensuring proper coordination between disciplines. Prepare and submit technical documentation including method statements, shop drawings, and other relevant submissions. Support the Construction/Project Manager in daily site coordination and supervision of ongoing works. Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety practices on-site. Ensure that materials used and work carried out are in full compliance with project specifications and relevant codes. Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, recognised by the PE Board. Minimum of 1 year project experience in LTA Projects is preferred. Proficient in Microsoft Office; working knowledge of AutoCAD is an advantage. Technically inclined with excellent problem-solving skills. Familiarity with local codes and construction regulations; experience with LTA projects is preferred. Additional Requirements
Strong interpersonal and communication skills: able to work both independently and as part of a site management team. Ability to speak Mandarin is an advantage.
