You know how to come up with the big idea and see it all the way through from concept to execution. You are a self-starting, open-minded, thick-skinned, collaborative creative who holds ideas to the highest standards but doesn’t hold them too precious.
Mythic is looking for an adept and driven Art Director who can develop creative solutions for brand campaigns, performance marketing, or social media that drive results and win awards. This will be done working with a talented team of creative directors, art directors, copywriters, designers, videographers, editors, and social content creators.
Duties / Responsibilities: Come up with original, innovative ideas and executions that are on strategy Concept and develop everything from integrated brand campaigns to social content Create arresting visuals that stop consumers in their tracks Participate in cross-functional collaboration sessions —good ideas are everywhere Establish art direction and help see advertising concepts though to production Apply a brand’s guidelines to create a holistic brand experience across deliverables Stay up-to-date on social media trends, best practices, platform and algorithm updates Work with creative directors to refine concepts and executions to deliver on project objectives Interact with account and project managers to meet client objectives and deadlines Self-start, juggle many fast-moving pieces, and be willing to pitch in on whatever pops up Show off your presentation skills both internally and client-facing as needed Required Skills / Abilities:
A portfolio that shows creativity, conceptual ability, an eye for execution, and a good foundation to build upon (video, print, digital, social) Ability to recognize creative ideas and execute them brilliantly from a strategic brief Knowledge of advertising principles, industry trends, culture, and technology Experienced in creating social media content across platforms A willingness to grow your art direction skills and be mentored by senior team members Positive attitude, open to ideas, respect for others, receptive to feedback, eager to collaborate Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud Experience with Figma, CapCut, and AI tools for image and video generation a plus Education / Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree required; advanced degree from a portfolio school preferred 3+ years as an art director in an advertising agency or related environment Physical Requirements:
