We're partnering with a stable and well-established food company that’s undergoing an exciting transformation in its procurement organization. They’re looking for a strategic, forward-thinking
Procurement Manager
to help lead change across indirect spend—with a focus on CapEx, MRO, and other non-product categories. In this role, you’ll shape sourcing strategies, own key vendor relationships, and drive smarter spend decisions. You’ll also get the chance to modernize processes, influence cross-functional teams, and help build a best-in-class procurement function from the inside out. Scope of Responsibility: Lead procurement strategy for capital projects and indirect spend to drive cost savings, quality, and supplier performance. Source and evaluate suppliers through market research, negotiation, and contract management to ensure optimal pricing and risk mitigation. Collaborate with stakeholders to align procurement plans with business needs and long-term objectives. Ensure compliance with procurement policies and regulations, while driving continuous improvement through industry insights and strategic sourcing Monitor supplier performance using KPIs, address risks proactively, and build strong supplier relationships that foster innovation and value. Background Required: 5+ years of experience in procurement and more specifically with indirect procurement in a manufacturing setting. Proven experience with driving change. Strong negotiation and communication skills. Proven track record of implementing sourcing strategies. Willingness to travel up to 10% Compensation and Benefits: Compensation of $140,000 plus a 7% bonus (can increase for well-qualified candidates). Competitive Healthcare and Benefits.
