8+ month contract opportunity
We're looking for a Solution Architect to join our team in Fountain Valley. In this role, you will be a key technology leader, driving the technical design of scalable systems and connecting our long-term vision with our business and technical strategy.
You'll use your deep knowledge of distributed systems, algorithms, and the healthcare industry to build innovative platforms and products that redefine what's possible for medical professionals and healthcare systems.
This position is an 8+ month
contract role , with an estimated end date of March 31, 2026. What you'll do: Design and Strategize: Lead the design and development of high-priority requests, ensuring efficient and sustainable configurations. You'll work with business and IS leadership to understand roadmaps and identify architectural initiatives with the greatest impact. Innovate: Stay up to date on new concepts within the healthcare space to keep our solutions agile and current. You'll evaluate new technologies and provide recommendations for key options. Collaborate: Serve as the primary liaison for Information Systems (IS) needs, aligning them with strategic service lines. You'll gather business and technical requirements, translating customer needs into functional requirements and planned deliverables. Mentor and Document: Create technical documents covering application architecture, design steps, integration processes, and testing procedures. You'll also mentor colleagues through knowledge transfer and effective communication. Problem-Solve: Anticipate issues and work with stakeholders to identify and implement solutions. You'll escalate project risks while providing remediation strategies. What you'll bring: Required Skills & Experience Bachelor’s degree OR an associate degree with at least seven years of relevant experience. At least five years of experience in healthcare operations and healthcare information systems, with a broad understanding of integration technologies. Proficiency in healthcare system software as it relates to the enterprise IT ecosystem. Experience in technical leadership, project management, and working in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to measure both value and financial returns. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences. Experience in workflow and data analysis, including needs assessment and specification development. EPIC certification. Skills & Experience At least seven years of application experience in relevant Epic module(s). One of the following certifications: AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate; Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; Google Cloud Certified – Professional Cloud Architect; TOGAF 9 Certified.
