Job Summary The Associate Professor of Clinical - Interventional Radiology provides medical care to a wide range of patients through minimally invasive image-guided diagnosis and treatment of diseases. The role emphasizes clinical care, research, and training of residents and fellows. The faculty member may provide services at various UM/JMH locations, including Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, UHealth Tower Hospital, Jackson Memorial Hospital, Lennar Foundation Medical Center, UHealth Doral, UHealth SoleMia, and satellite centers in Broward County. They may also see patients at the Desai Sethi Medical Center.
Core Job Functions
Interpret interventional radiology imaging studies and perform procedures.
Assist in developing and implementing new interventional procedures.
Evaluate patients pre- and post-intervention and contribute to outpatient clinics expansion.
Supervise technical personnel performance.
Evaluate and consult on new referrals and follow-up in IR clinics.
Ensure quality assurance in interventional imaging practices.
Provide interventional imaging consultations as needed.
Provide emergency patient care in interventional radiology settings.
Participate in on-call schedules.
Handle administrative responsibilities related to interventional imaging as assigned.
Participate in teaching for residency, fellowship, medical students, and technological radiology education.
Serve on departmental and institutional committees and participate in research as investigator and mentor.

Core Qualifications Education: Medical Degree from an accredited Medical School or equivalent.
Certification and Licensing: Florida Medical License or equivalent; American Board of Radiology Certification; Completion of an ACGME-approved Fellowship in Vascular Interventional Radiology.
