Hardware Validation Engineer

Requirements • Strong experience in validation of high speed and low speed interfaces like PCIe,DDR, Ethernet , USB,I2C, UART, etc. • Experience in using of lab instruments like high end Oscilloscope, Multi-meters, DC Load, Power supplies, and hands-on experience in doing simple soldering Rework. • Experience in debugging interfaces using test equipment like Logic analyser, Oscilloscope and Protocol analysers. • Strong fundamentals and experience in analysis of board design concepts Schematics and Layout files. •Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaboratively work with various cross functional teams (FW/BIOS/LAYOUT/Platform/IP Design/Silicon Design) •Highly experienced in SOC / Platform Bring-up , testing, troubleshooting debugging of the boards in coordination with firmware and software teams. •Experience in writing scripts in Python, Ruby or PERL. •Should be able to come up with testing and validation plan and be able to identify the test equipment required for execution. •Experience in preparing and reviewing hardware design documentation and issue investigation reports.
