Sr. Principal Modeling and Simulation Software/Systems Engineer
based in Northridge, CA. The candidate will develop and utilize high-fidelity missile simulations, integrate them into various environments, and support weapon system verification. The role involves technical leadership and collaboration with a diverse engineering team. Basic Qualifications
BS in Engineering (Aerospace, Software, Systems) with 8+ years or MS with 6+ years of experience Secret clearance with ability to obtain SAP clearance Proficiency in C++ development on Linux, experience with cross-platform applications Knowledge of object-oriented design, enterprise design patterns, messaging, and pipelines Experience with distributed systems, DIS or HLA protocols Experience developing 6DOF simulations for weapon verification and flight test support Experience with HIL systems for software verification Proficiency in Python (Scipy, Pandas) or Matlab Preferred Qualifications
TS SAP, SCI clearance Experience with GPUs, CUDA, GIT, statistical analysis, control theory, SIMULINK, SysML, and simulation architectures Weapons modeling, GNC algorithms, sensor models, flight dynamics experience Experience with DoD simulation frameworks like AFSIM, AJEM, and lethality modeling tools Additional Information
Located in Northridge, CA, the area offers urban and natural attractions, with a pleasant year-round climate. Salary range: $137,400 - $206,000.
