SIPEF is a Belgian company, based in Schoten and listed on Euronext Brussels. Systems & Network Infra Lead: Owning the Technical engagement with business clients to facilitate the successful delivery of services and solutions that meet the agreed requirements and outcomes. Job Duties 1. Network & Infrastructure Architecture Design and implement enterprise-wide LAN/WAN, Data Center, Wireless Backhaul (Cambium cnMaestro), and IP Telephony. Lead network architecture planning, configuration, testing, and deployment of infrastructure services. Manage fault, configuration, performance, and capacity monitoring using Network Management Systems (NMS). Evaluate and integrate emerging technologies to support scalability and cross-platform needs. Provide roadmaps and continuous process improvement for network systems. 2. Cybersecurity Leadership Direct cybersecurity strategy and controls across O365, Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, and VMware NSX platforms. Coordinate security risk assessments, remediation, and incident response. Enforce secure data exchange practices and oversee system-level security integration. Advise on security implications of infrastructure changes and promote security awareness and training. 3. Server, Storage & Systems Management Administer enterprise servers: installation, upgrades, monitoring, and performance tuning. Lead capacity planning and availability strategies to meet SLA targets. Manage user accounts, patch deployments, and infrastructure maintenance. Conduct server architecture evaluations and create business cases for upgrades when needed. 4. Cloud Platform & Microsoft 365 Administration Maintain and operate Microsoft 365 and Azure cloud platforms. Manage cloud-based services: Exchange Online, OneDrive, Teams, and SharePoint. Administer identity, access rights, and licensing for Microsoft cloud users. Configure and manage mobile device and app policies using

Microsoft Intune

(MDM & MAM). 5. Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Develop and maintain Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery plans. Ensure backup integrity, failover procedures, and rapid recovery capabilities. 6. Leadership & Cross-Functional Collaboration Collaborate with systems, networking, and database teams for end-to-end solutions. Mentor junior IT staff and lead knowledge transfer efforts across departments. Support cross-department IT initiatives ensuring functional alignment and compliance. Requirements Core Technical Expertise 10+ years of experience

in enterprise architecture across virtualization (VMware, Nutanix), systems, storage, backup, databases, networks, O365, and hyper-converged infrastructure. Deep expertise in

load balancing platforms

such as

F5

and

AVI Networks . 7+ years of experience

in network virtualization and

VSAT broadband technologies. 3+ years of hands-on experience

with

Cambium Networks , wireless backhaul, and microwave communications. Strong proficiency in

Cisco routing/switching , Layer 2/3 routing protocols, and DNS, DHCP, certificates, OAuth, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. Solid exposure to

security technologies , including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, threat mitigation, and

vulnerability management . Cloud & Virtualization 5+ years of experience

in

Microsoft Azure

cloud services, architecture, and deployment. Hands-on experience with

VMware, Nutanix , and

hyper-converged solutions . Background in

SDN (Software Defined Networking)

and

SD-WAN

architectures for modern WAN and datacenter environments. Governance, Compliance & Process Experience in

technical oversight , peer reviews, and engineering quality assurance. Exposure to

compliance and audit frameworks , including risk mitigation and reporting. Knowledge of

process automation , IT operations optimization, and

budget/cost estimation . Leadership & Collaboration Proven

leadership experience

managing technical teams and leading projects end-to-end. Excellent

stakeholder engagement skills , capable of influencing across business units. Strong technical documentation and analytical thinking abilities. Education & Certifications Holds at least one professional certification:

CCNP, CCIP, or CCIE . Educational background in

Computer Science ,

IT , or

Engineering

(Electrical/Telecom). Affinity with multicultural collaboration in

Asia, Africa, and Australia

is an added advantage.
