Tennessee State University College of Engineering
invites applications for the position of
Director of Finance Services . The Director of Finance Services works under the direction of the Dean, College of Engineering. The college has five departments and the Tiger Research Institute. It offers six accredited BS degrees, four graduate degrees, and one PhD in strategic and emerging disciplines for research and working professionals. The college currently has funded grants from agencies such as the National Science Foundation, NIH, DOE, DoD, HUD, DOT, DHS, NASA, and industry partners like Amazon, Google, Apple, Boeing, IBM, and others. Responsibilities include: Establishing the budget for the College of Engineering Monitoring spending of grants and contracts Managing foundation accounts and marketplace funds Tracking grant expenditures Development and Community Relations: Establishing inquiry and interest processes Supporting community relations and annual fundraising events Researching and maintaining confidential donor information Increasing corporate partnerships and scholarships for students Enhancing revenue through corporate engagement Supporting fundraising for new engineering facilities Obtaining equipment and donations for academic and research purposes
