Foundation And Grants Director

The Director of the Foundation and Grants is responsible for leading, managing, and expanding the fundraising and grant development efforts of the college. This position provides strategic direction and oversight for all Foundation operations, donor engagement, and external funding opportunities to support institutional priorities. The Director plays a key role in cultivating philanthropic partnerships, managing grants and donor funds, reconciling student's grant funds and ensuring regulatory compliance and effective stewardship. The successful candidate will be responsible for: Identifying, cultivating, and soliciting donors and applying for grant funding opportunities. Maintaining positive donor relations. Upholding the highest standards of ethical conduct. Maintaining accurate bookkeeping and grant management. Directing fundraising activities. Ability to work occasional evenings or weekends. Minimum qualifications include: Education required: A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major course work in finance, accounting, business, or a related field or comparable work experience. Increasingly responsible experience in an organization(s) with asset development, operating revenue development, and planned giving programs. Previous experience interacting with CEOs, Presidents, and other senior executives and administrators. Three (3) years of supervisory or team leadership experience. Three to five years' experience in the use of donor databases, CRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and data analysis tools. Demonstrated experience with writing, securing, and managing federal, state, and private grants. Preferred qualifications include: Master's Degree or MBA. Three to five years of relevant experience overseeing operational administration for a Foundation. Three to five years' experience building and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
