$140,000.00/yr - $165,000.00/yr Direct message the job poster from Buchanan Legal Professional Services A leading global law firm is seeking a Marketing & Business Development Manager to support the growth and visibility of its Antitrust & Competition and Government Relations & Public Affairs practices.
This role will be hybrid in Washington, D.C. As a key member of the global Marketing & Business Development team, you’ll lead initiatives that span client targeting, pitch strategy, thought leadership, profile-raising campaigns, event programming, and digital content, while working closely with senior lawyers and cross-functional teams across the U.S., UK, and Europe. Key Responsibilities: Partner with practice leadership to execute strategic business plans, client development efforts, and BD budgets Draft and manage customized pitches, RFP responses, and credential materials that reflect the firm’s strengths Lead high-impact marketing campaigns, events, webinars, and profile-raising initiatives for key practices Develop and distribute thought leadership, social media content, client alerts, and directory submissions Maintain internal collateral, experience databases, and targeted mailing lists Collaborate across global teams on integrated initiatives and firmwide BD projects Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field 7+ years of relevant experience in professional services, preferably legal or consulting Strong understanding of antitrust law, government relations, or public affairs preferred Exceptional writing, project management, and stakeholder engagement skills Proven ability to manage multiple initiatives independently, with attention to detail and deadline focus Seniority level
