Emerging Companies & Venture Capital
practice, a pivotal component of their broader Technology Sector group. The successful candidate will be instrumental in providing sophisticated legal counsel to a diverse portfolio of
burgeoning enterprises and nascent ventures . This encompasses a broad spectrum of
corporate governance
and
strategic advisory
functions, often serving in an "external general counsel" capacity, guiding clients through critical business decisions. A core responsibility will involve orchestrating and executing
complex venture financing rounds , spanning both
early-stage seed investments
and
late-stage growth equity transactions . This includes adeptly representing both the
companies seeking capital
and the
venture capital funds
and other institutional investors deploying it. The role demands a proactive leader capable of
managing ongoing client relationships , overseeing intricate deal structures, and significantly contributing to the
professional development and mentorship

negotiating and drafting
intricate corporate and financing agreements. A comprehensive understanding of the
lifecycle of a startup , from formation through various funding stages and potential exit strategies. Experience in
team leadership
and a proven ability to mentor and guide junior legal professionals. Prior exposure to
intellectual property strategy
