San Francisco About the Role: Our client, a leading healthcare-focused growth equity firm based in San Francisco, is seeking a highly motivated Senior Associate to join its investment team. With over $1.5B in AUM and more than 50 years of combined experience in healthcare investing, the firm offers a unique opportunity to contribute meaningfully to investment decisions and portfolio success. This position offers a flexible start date and clear potential for upward mobility within the firm. Key Responsibilities: Support the sourcing, evaluation & execution of investments in healthcare-focused venture capital and growth equity funds, portfolios, and direct company interests. Collaborate closely with Vice Presidents, Principals, and Partners throughout the full investment lifecycle, including due diligence, financial modeling, deal execution, and portfolio management. Conduct deep-dive research into healthcare markets, companies, and investment themes across sectors such as Medical Devices, Biopharma, Diagnostics/Tools, Digital Health, Healthcare IT & Services. Build and maintain relationships with industry stakeholders, including founders, fund managers, and strategic operators. Assist in the preparation of investment memos and presentation materials for the Investment Committee. About the Candidate: 3-5 years of experience in investment banking, growth equity, private equity or venture capital. Demonstrated interest in & familiarity with the healthcare sector. Strong analytical capabilities with experience in financial modeling, valuation, and due diligence. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present insights effectively. Undergraduate degree from a top-tier institution; backgrounds in science, engineering, or other technical disciplines are a plus.
