Grid Dynamics is looking for a
Market Research Specialist
to assist the global marketing and sales teams with gathering customer intelligence and supporting pre-sales and marketing activities. The role is critical for the success of the sales and marketing teams, and an ideal candidate should have strong business acumen and an interest in reading, analyzing, and interpreting data from various sources to gain business insights. Essential functions Collect data on customers, competitors, and market trends; consolidate information into actionable reports and presentations. Provide intelligence to sales pursuit teams, account teams, and corporate functions. Assist sales and marketing teams with qualifying prospects, gathering and analyzing business insights, and supporting outreach activities. Research potential clients for specific service offerings. Contribute to prospecting strategies by analyzing industry and technology trends and aligning them with company capabilities. Gather, update, and validate contact data for marketing and business development teams. Research miscellaneous topics as needed. Qualifications Good aptitude for reading, comfort with data analysis, and ability to present findings clearly. Ability to form, articulate, and defend opinions based on research. Strong communication skills, maturity to handle discussions with senior leaders. Familiarity with digital technologies is a plus. Proficiency in Google Spreadsheets and Slides or Microsoft Office equivalents. Experience with research tools (e.g., ZoomInfo, Lusha, Apollo, Crunchbase, BuiltWith). Advanced English skills, leadership, and presentation abilities. Ability to interpret large data sets and multitask. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
