Edgewood Tahoe Resort
The Activities Ambassador is a dynamic and enthusiastic member of the Edgewood Resort team, responsible for creating and promoting fun, engaging, and memorable activities for guests. The Activities Ambassador will work closely with the resort experience and guest services teams to ensure a high level of guest satisfaction through interactive entertainment, recreational programs, and wellness activities.
Key Responsibilities: Assist the Resort Experiences Manager, Activities Coordinator, and Concierge in welcoming guests upon arrival at activities. Lead and supervise a variety of recreational activities, such as arts and crafts, watersports, boat rental, fly-fishing, nature hikes, ice skating, snow-shoe hikes, poolside activities, and other resort activities. Act as a brand ambassador by representing the resort’s values, image, and culture in all guest interactions. Actively engage with guests to promote and encourage participation in daily activities and events. Support colleagues in setting up and clearing activity areas, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment. Acquire extensive knowledge of the premises, nearby venues, and businesses to make suitable active recommendations. Enforce established safety rules and policies as they pertain to our activities. Collaborate with other resort departments (e.g., food and beverage, guest services) to enhance the guest experience and offer unique events or promotions. Ability to quickly pivot and adapt to unforeseen circumstances or weather conditions for proper execution of guest events or activities. Perform other related duties as assigned to support the overall success of the team and business. Qualifications and Skills:
Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate guests of all ages. High energy, enthusiastic, and personable with a genuine passion for hospitality and entertainment. Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or activity coordination is preferred. Experience in leading or facilitating recreational activities (fitness, water sports, arts/crafts, games, etc.) is a plus. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple activities or tasks simultaneously. Experience working with Point-of-Sale systems is a plus. Physical Requirements:
Must be able to safely lift, move, and stack items weighing up to 40 lbs. Able to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods. Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
