Account Executive - Large Casualty

Job Description
This position is responsible for marketing and underwriting complex casualty insurance for large corporations and captive insurance products, including Group Captives.
Essential Duties:
Collaborate with senior leadership to develop effective marketing strategies and research marketplace trends.
Market complex primary casualty insurance products to large corporations and their brokers, as well as fronting products to captive owners using captive reinsurance or a combination of captive reinsurance and risk transfer.
Maintain a profitable book of business, managing service relationships, annual renewals, and credit risk.
Calculate and negotiate ceding commissions and other fees to secure and renew profitable business.
Coordinate actuarial and credit reviews to ensure proper security is posted by clients.
Develop, negotiate, and implement contracts with client companies to accurately reflect program structures.
Implement, service, and monitor programs to ensure client needs are met and operations run smoothly.
Arrange reinsurance placements as needed.
Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
10+ years of casualty underwriting experience
Strong communication skills
Ability to travel frequently
Compensation: $250,000-$300,000 per year
