Position:

Infrastructure Project Manager

Work Environment:

Hybrid

Terms:

6-month contract to hire (possible direct hire)

Rate:

$60 to $65 per hour (salary up to $120/130K + bonuses)

Job Summary If you are an infrastructure engineer ready to lead projects and influence decisions, this role is for you. You will manage complex infrastructure projects such as data center builds, cloud migrations, and network upgrades, working closely with technical teams and stakeholders to deliver results and maintain technical excellence.

Key Responsibilities

Project Execution

Define project milestones and develop detailed work plans.

Conduct weekly task reviews and coordinate with vendors.

Forecast resources and develop migration and communication strategies.

Project Budget Management

Define and track project budgets and resource utilization.

Coordinate vendor quotes and facilitate approvals.

Escalate scope changes impacting budget or timeline.

Project Status Reporting & Communication

Prepare weekly status reports and lead weekly meetings.

Review project progress with sponsors and stakeholders.

Maintain issues log and transition documentation.

Qualifications & Experience

Experience managing IT infrastructure projects, especially involving network security, cloud migrations, or enterprise systems.

Strong knowledge of server architecture, networking, firewalls, Active Directory, and email migration.

Excellent organizational and leadership skills.

Experience with project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid) is a plus.
