Summary The Territory Business Development Manager develops and implements sales strategies in collaboration with Channel partners to accelerate and identify growth opportunities to exceed annual sales goals. Reporting to the Territory Sales Manager, you will also lead the Channel strategy for Information Software and IoT solutions, coordinating efforts between Rockwell, partners and selected accounts. You will focus on opportunistic pursuits, new business, conversion of new business, identifying and closing new contracts/deals. This is a hybird role based in Atlanta, Georgia. What You Will Do You will own the account strategy within selected accounts and communicates to extended teams on an account by account basis. Collaborates closely with Channel Partners. You will drive Information SW and IoT strategy with Channel Partners at selected accounts as well as our core hardware portfolio. You'll collaborate with Rockwell Information Software (IS) Account Rep Team for Lead Generation, IS Sales resources & regional solution consultants, and Rockwell Sales pursuit desk. You will help build competency and focus in IS space with channel partners. Understand the Integrator Ecosystem for software and hardware solution delivery. You will establish strong relationships at all organizational levels within the customer base and understand customer process, goals and organizational models. You will follow the Rockwell Automation sales process: knows assigned accounts, plans for growth, maintains a healthy funnel, drives opportunities to closure and evaluates performance to goal. You will understand the industry (applications, standards/regulations, drivers and trends), the customer's organization and desired outcomes and Rockwell Automation offerings and delivery mechanisms and partner capabilities relevant to assigned accounts. You will work with Channel partners to qualify customer opportunities, engage the appropriate resources and coordinate the solution design to influence the customer's decision process and presents solutions to the customer. You will coordinate with Channel partner and Rockwell Automation account team, senior management and a technical engagement team (domain experts) to plan for and win identified opportunities. Maintain accurate assessment of target and opportunity funnel within the Dynamics Customer Relationship Management system. You will set and help manage internal/external partner expectations. Basic Qualifications Legal authorization to work in the US is required. We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. Valid driver's license Travel: Ability to travel up to 50% in the Georgia region Preferred Qualifications Bachelors in Engineering or related technical program Typically requires 5+ year of sales experience selling through distributors or channel partners. Prior experience in technical sales, industrial distribution, channel sales or system integration. Experience selling digital transformation solutions, IIOT and industry 4.0 offerings.
