Reporting directly to senior leadership, this consultant will manage deliverables, align internal teams, and ensure the implementation meets both technical and community needs.
The website redesign is part of a broader effort to create a citizen experience and engagement department, with this consultant helping shape foundational improvements.
Success in this role may open doors to continued project management support across future town initiatives. THE BACKGROUND THAT FITS
Strong experience in website redesign, digital transformation, or web application implementation projects, preferably in a public-sector or client-facing capacity.
A hybrid skillset: confident in project management, stakeholder coordination, vendor oversight, and technically fluent in web technologies (specific languages not required).
Ability to translate business and community needs into technical requirements and manage project timelines from kickoff to go-live.
Previous experience gathering requirements, facilitating cross-functional workshops, and working in matrixed environments. Local to the Charlotte metro area with the ability to be onsite in Mooresville periodically to lead in-person meetings and team updates.
