Sweetwater, the nations #1 online retailer of pro audio equipment and music instruments, is seeking to hire a Workday Finance Analyst. In this role, you will work closely with the Finance teams and within Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning to design, develop, and maintain financial and operational reports and dashboards, support FP&A modeling, assist with configuration and design within Workday products, and collaborate with Finance, HR, and IT teams to ensure consistent and high-quality business operations. Job Responsibilities Support the Workday Adaptive Planning system, including designing, developing, and maintaining financial models for planning and forecasting while considering business and FP&A needs. Work closely with Finance teams and Workday Architects regarding overall design and changes in FDM and integrations, and effectively communicate how those changes impact related systems, reports, and financial planning. Develop, optimize, and maintain finance-related reports and dashboards in various forms, including but not limited to: Workday Financials, Adaptive Planning, and OfficeConnect. Collaborate with Finance, IT, and HR teams to understand reporting needs and translate business requirements into usable reports. Lead minor projects and participate and collaborate in cross-functional projects. Update and maintain documentation for Finance Workday systems. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all reporting solutions. Adhere to Workday best practices, including data governance, security, and compliance. Participate in scheduled and ad hoc training to improve policy and process acumen; provide training and support to users as needed and contribute to a culture of continuous education. Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Prior experience as an administrator or user of Workday Adaptive Planning and/or Workday Financial Management (2+ years preferred). Proficient with Workday Report Writer/OfficeConnect, including Advanced, Composite, and Matrix Reports, calculated fields, and dashboards. Proficient in Accounting & Finance processes and concepts, and general accounting operations and compliance. Workday certification in Adaptive Planning, Reporting or other related application a plus. General knowledge and understanding of data security and consumer privacy standards. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent experience.
