Position Summary:
Knight Federal Solutions Inc. is seeking a
Principal Cyber Operations Analyst Trainer
to join our established team of diverse professionals in Suffolk, Virginia. This position supports the Joint Staff J7, Joint Training, Deployable Training Division (DTD) in providing a continuum of individual, staff, and collective joint training to enhance the operational effectiveness of the current and future joint force. The selected candidate will provide observation, training, and feedback, focused at the operational and strategic levels, to Joint Force Commanders and their staffs during joint and multi-national training, exercises, and staff assist visits (SAVs). Observation, training, and feedback will focus on planning of Cyber Operations and how that planning is synchronized across war fighting functions and domains, and how cyber operations are integrated into lethal and non-lethal fires and globally integrated operations. The position requires knowledge and/or experience in planning cyber operations at the theater operational and/or national strategic level. Responsibilities: Acts as a subject matter expert and trainer in cyber operations in joint, multinational, interagency, and globally integrated exercises and operations Integrates into, contributes to, and provides functional continuity in the DTDs Fires and Effects Section Mentors, trains, and supports new OTs Participates as a member of Deployable Training Teams (DTTs) observing, training, and providing feedback to commanders and their staffs during exercises Ascertains key command challenges at the operational and strategic levels of war and conducts cross-functional analysis of information gathered from joint exercises Understands strategic thought and direction as it guides campaign and crisis planning Researches national strategic documents, historical exercise documents, real world operations, and interagency and coalition policies Conducts trend analysis and develops feedback Develops the Commanders Facilitated After-Action Review (FAAR) and other reports Updates and maintains documents and periodicals Develops and facilitates seminars for the National Defense Universitys Senior Leader Education Program Requirements One of the following: Bachelors degree with a minimum of 10 years of professional and/or military operational experience; or specialized technical training and certifications directly related to the requirement. Masters degree with a minimum of 6 years of professional and/or military operational experience; or specialized technical training and certifications directly related to the requirement.
