DevOps Engineer
Our client is seeking a DevOps Engineer to join their team. DevOps Engineer Responsibilities include working closely with development and other teams to deploy software releases and updates, setting up and maintaining source code management tools, repositories, workflows, and pipelines, and automating CI/CD processes. They will also be responsible for cloud and on-prem infrastructure planning, provisioning, and configuration, setting up application performance monitoring and alerting dashboards, implementing disaster recovery solutions, and writing deployment, configuration, provisioning, monitoring, and other scripts. They will provide production support and troubleshooting, stay on top of industry best practices and trends, and collaborate and work in an agile environment. DevOps Engineer Requirements include 7-10 or more years of work experience as a DevOps engineer or in similar roles, a degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or related field, hands-on experience with source code management, CI/CD, and DevOps tools, cloud computing platforms, containerization technologies, system administration, Linux/Unix shell scripts and networking, databases and SQL, application performance monitoring and alerts, Infrastructure as Code and provisioning tools, and security and compliance requirements and practices. Excellent analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting skills, understanding of software development and test automation suites, and knowledge of programming languages like Java, Go, Python and scripting are preferred. Excellent communication skills, understanding of Agile methodologies, ability to work as part of a team, organizational and time management skills are also required.
