DSS Accounts Payable Manager II (Senior AP Manager)- Hybrid
Overview: The AP Senior Manager will handle the daily operations and strategic objectives of Asburys accounts payable cycle through maintenance and management of all accounts payable business functions, including invoice entry, statement reconciliation, error corrections, vendor management, and payment process. Requirements Accounts Payable management in a dealership or similar Shared Service Center setting Well-developed analytic and problem-solving skills Microsoft Excel experience CDK Dealership software experience Responsibilities Department Management Work with Director on hiring, training, reviewing, and discipline of all staff members Schedule and run required and appropriate meetings Monitor and review assigned reporting Cross train and cover for absences Train where necessary, troubleshoot, resolve escalations Monitor National Accounts, advise and assist Manager Review debit balance schedules with manager for posting inaccuracies, posting errors Verify that month end duties are complete Analyze daily reports for flow issues, troubleshoot and correct National Account Management Monitor all accounts & overall aging Schedule / lead calls & other communication initiatives Maintain contact files Assign accounts as needed to analysts/SA Reporting EOM Reporting, including aging reports and reconciliation workbook creation Quarterly reporting of uncollectable accounts & adjustments Annual W9 archiving program, report and manage Coordinate audit requests with entire team Payment Management Final approver on all pay runs Coordinate vendor updates with Nvoice Pay About the company
