About the Job
The University of Minnesota School of Public Health's Cannabis Research Center is seeking individuals to collect data for a research study of local business practices. This is a temporary hourly position lasting approximately 4 months with the potential to be renewed. Weekend and evening hours may be required. Data Collectors will record and ensure accuracy of the data gathered from field observations and follow the study protocol. Data Collectors will work approximately 15 hours per week. Mileage reimbursement will be provided. Observations will mostly be in the evening (around 3 pm-8 pm) and conducted in teams. Job Duties
Conduct field data collection following the study protocol (90%) Debrief and answer questions about observations (5%) Complete training requirements (5%) Pay: $20/hour. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Must be 21 or older and able to pass for an undergraduate or high school student. An audition will be held to verify age. Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail. Own a smartphone. Able to problem solve according to study protocol. Pass a background check. Available to work evenings and weekends. US citizen. Preferred Qualifications
Previous data collection experience (preferred but not required) Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, current insurance, and passing driving record check. Pay and Benefits
