About the Job
The University of Minnesota School of Public Health's Cannabis Research Center is seeking individuals to collect data for a research study of local business practices. This is a temporary hourly position lasting approximately 4 months with potential for renewal. Weekend and evening hours may be required. Data Collectors will record data from field observations, following the study protocol carefully. Data Collectors will work about 15 hours per week. Mileage reimbursement will be provided. Observations will mainly occur in the evening (around 3 pm-8 pm), and team collaboration is required. Job Duties
Conduct field data collection following the study protocol (90%) Debrief and answer questions about observations with team members (5%) Complete training requirements (5%) Pay is $20/hour. Qualifications
Required Qualifications
Must be 21 or older but able to pass for an undergraduate or high school student. An invitation to a pre-interview audition will be sent after application. Demonstrate responsibility, dependability, and attention to detail. Own a smartphone. Able to problem-solve per study protocol. Complete a background check. Flexible to work evenings and weekends. US citizen. Preferred Qualifications
Previous data collection experience (preferred but not required) Valid drivers license, reliable vehicle, current insurance, and pass driving record check. Pay and Benefits
