Network Security Engineer
GovCIO is currently hiring for a Network Security Engineer with an active Secret clearance to lead the architecture, engineering, integration, development, and deployment of network and security devices, applications, and tools in an enterprise environment. This position will be located in Arlington, VA and will be a fully remote within the United States position. Responsibilities include: leading the architecture, engineering, integration, development, and deployment of network and security devices, applications, and tools in an enterprise environment; working with network monitoring and intrusion detection, host-based and network-based IDS, and log management applications; recommending upgrades and new components for DEA approval; installing, testing, patching, and upgrading computer hardware and operating systems (Windows and Unix) in an enterprise environment; leveraging tools such as SourceFire, ArcSight, Splunk, Net Witness, Guidance Software, Digital Guardian, Raytheon (SureView), NMAP, Request Tracker, Nagios, Intelliview, Nessus, and Foundstone to provide direct support for WAN, LAN, Wireless, Mobile, and VPN networks. Qualifications include a Bachelor's with 15+ years of network security (or commensurate experience) and an active Secret Clearance required, plus the ability to obtain and hold DEA suitability.
