Responsibilities
Under management guidance, the Lead will provide training, support, and expertise to the claims staff. They will manage daily operations, serve as a primary contact for various internal and external stakeholders, and support compliance and audit activities. The Lead will oversee staff, including Senior Claims Examiners, ensure quality of work, and assist in workload distribution. They will also perform duties of the Senior Claims Examiner when needed, including compliance reporting, audits, appeals, recoveries, and overpayment management. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications 5 years of experience as a senior claims examiner across all functional areas. High School Diploma or GED. Thorough knowledge of CPT, ICD10, HCPCS, Medical Terminology, and industry compliance standards for State and Federal regulations.
Preferred Qualifications
Certification as a medical coder (preferred but not required). Experience with IDX claims processing. This position is remote but requires training and meetings at the Rancho Cordova, CA office.
Pay Range
$23.00 - $32.66 per hour. Additional Details
