Part-Time JOB SUMMARY:
The Server Assistant at Suntree Country Club plays a crucial role in ensuring that our dining guests experience exceptional service by assisting the serving staff and delivering food and beverages in a timely and efficient manner. This position works closely with waitstaff, kitchen staff, and management to maintain high standards of service, cleanliness, and hospitality, contributing to the overall success of the club's food and beverage operations. Key Responsibilities:
Food Running : Transport food orders from the kitchen to the dining area, ensuring the order is correct and presented attractively. Assisting Servers : Help servers by delivering drink refills, clearing dishes, and providing additional items such as condiments, napkins, or silverware. Guest Interaction : Greet guests courteously and assist with any immediate needs or requests, maintaining a positive and friendly attitude. Ensuring Cleanliness : Keep the dining area clean and organized by clearing used dishes and resetting tables efficiently for new guests. Stocking and Restocking : Ensure the dining room and server stations are properly stocked with necessary supplies, such as napkins, utensils, and glassware. Assisting with Setup and Breakdown : Help with the setup and breakdown of events, including special club functions, banquets, and private parties. Maintaining Communication : Work in close coordination with kitchen and serving staff to ensure timely and accurate order delivery. Adherence to Safety and Sanitation Standards : Maintain high standards of food safety and sanitation as prescribed by club policies, local health regulations, and best practices. Requirements Qualifications: Experience : Previous experience in a similar role, especially in a fast-paced, upscale dining or country club environment, is preferred but not required. Communication : Strong communication skills with a positive, professional attitude toward both guests and team members. Physical Requirements : Ability to stand, walk, and lift for long periods of time, and carry heavy trays or plates with ease. Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Attention to Detail : Strong attention to detail to ensure correct food orders are delivered. Flexibility : Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed. Preferred: Knowledge of food safety regulations. Experience in high-end, private club settings or fine dining environments. Physical Requirements: Prolonged periods of standing.
