The Warehouse Production Worker is responsible for receiving, storing, and distributing finished goods and raw materials within establishments. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:Review customer, work, or shipping orders to determine items to be movedRelocate materials from receiving or production areas to designated locationsRecord receiving and shipping data for reporting and record-keeping purposesSort and store finished goods and raw materials according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP)Assemble customer orders, palletize, and wrap productsPrepare and deliver supplies and materials to production areas as directedMark materials with identifying informationRecord and track received and distributed materialsOperate forklifts and pallet jacks for transportationMonitor and maintain temperature in refrigerated warehouseMaintain store products and manage receiving and shipping logsReport to workstation on time; Wear proper work attire; Assist in setting up work area Follow SOP, SSOP, GMP, and general safety procedures Conduct behavior in compliance with Lifeway Employee PolicyPerform additional duties as assignedQualification and Education Requirements:High school diploma required; Or three to six months related experience; Or equivalent Demonstrate intellectual and interpersonal skills through leadership, organization, and self-efficacy Ability to read and write comprehensive reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals and effectively present them to groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general publicBasic mathematical skills and understanding of algebra and geometryKnowledge of Manufacturing Software, Inventory Software, and Microsoft Office including Excel and OutlookMust be able to lift 50 lbs.; Ability to be on your feet for entirety of 8-hour shift; Ability to climb ladders and maneuver through equipment; Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilitiesLifeway Foods, Inc is a growing Chicago-based beverage manufacturer with over 25 years of experience.
