FORT addresses these concerns by providing solutions such as the Wireless E-Stop, which allows operators to instantly stop any machine from a safe distance, enhancing safety during emergencies.Additionally, FORT's Safe Remote Control enables operators to manage heavy machinery remotely, reducing the risk of accidents and improving visibility.By ensuring communications integrity across any network, FORT empowers customers to protect their most valuable assets-people, data, and machines-ensuring they remain safe and secure.The Production Planner - Shipping & Receiving is responsible for coordinating production schedules while ensuring the seamless flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished goods. This role bridges planning, logistics, and inventory functions to support timely production and on-time delivery. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and experience in both production planning and warehouse/shipping operations.Key Responsibilities:Create and maintain shipping schedules based on inventory levels, equipment requests, RMA consumption and customer orders.Monitor work orders and ensure alignment between production output and shipping requirements.Support key ISO 9001 traceability requirements for all finished good and raw material.Collaborate with contract manufacturers on finished goods, company furnished raw material, and RMAs.Track production KPIs including on-time delivery, production efficiency, and backlog management.Coordinate the scheduling and dispatch of outbound shipments to ensure customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.Oversee receiving of inbound materials, verifying quantity and quality, and ensuring timely processing into inventory.Work with warehouse teams to maintain accurate records of all shipments and receipts in systems.Ensure proper labeling, documentation, and packaging of outbound goods to meet customer and carrier requirements.Communicate shipping schedules and delivery timelines with internal and external stakeholders.Monitor inventory levels to prevent stockouts or overstock situations.Conduct regular cycle counts and assist in full physical inventory counts.Collaborate with logistics partners, freight carriers, and internal teams to resolve transportation or customs issues.Support continuous improvement initiatives in shipping, receiving, and inventory control processes.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).4+ years of experience in production planning and/or shipping and receiving in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Proficient in ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Excel.Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, freight coordination, and inventory procedures.Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.Ability to work cross-functionally with production, logistics, and warehouse teams.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with international shipping and customs processes.Familiarity with lean or just-in-time (JIT) manufacturing principles.Working Conditions:Must be on-site 100% of the time or designate a backup for planned absences.May require lifting, walking, and standing during the day or performing duties.
