Position Description
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily operations of dirt crews on-site Direct equipment operators, laborers, and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow Monitor project progress and adjust resources to meet deadlines Enforce safety standards and conduct job site inspections Read and interpret plans, specifications, and work orders Communicate with project managers regarding site updates and resource needs Mentor and train crew members to ensure high performance and skill development Position Requirements
Qualifications:
5 years min proven experience as a Dirt Foreman or similar supervisory role in heavy civil construction Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, excavation, and site prep operations Ability to lead and motivate crews in a fast-paced, outdoor environment Proficient in reading construction plans and managing equipment logistics Commitment to job site safety and quality control practices Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
