Senior Global Product Manager, Downstream PCI Guidance
The Product Manager will lead Global Downstream marketing activities for the PCI-Guidance (PCIG) portfolio, including existing and legacy capital systems. This role involves transitioning our existing customer base to AVVIGO+, our next generation imaging platform, growing the business, and maintaining customer engagement. Responsibilities include driving commercialization and growth by partnering with sales, global upstream marketing, sales operations, digital enablement, and other cross-functional teams. The Product Manager will track, support, and engage with the customer base to ensure successful adoption of new products, manage new product launches, end-of-life strategies, KOL engagement, cross-portfolio product promotion, and imaging adoption. The ideal candidate will have a background in IVUS image interpretation, be able to work autonomously, manage multiple priorities, establish relationships with internal and external business partners, develop compelling recommendations, and drive initiatives to completion. Your responsibilities will include: Manage global commercialization and penetration efforts, driving towards yearly revenue, operating income, and gross margin targets. Utilize multi-channel communication strategies and collaborate with regional leaders to meet revenue and market share goals, ensuring alignment across the CT business. Own the conversion of our existing customer base to our next-generation capital platform, AVVIGO+, tracking performance against objectives and plans, and formulating new approaches and strategies as needed. Develop and implement a process for managing opportunities and effectiveness of evaluations, determining where and how to drive penetration within our existing customer base. Manage supply chain service cost and performance, including forecasting, setting performance targets, and providing guidance on supply chain tradeoffs. This includes conversion rates to next-generation technology while implementing other cost reduction initiatives. Contribute to the development and execution of an annual budget by developing promotional plans to meet franchise strategic objectives, forecasting future needs, and working within budget guidelines/constraints. Serve as a clinical and business advisor to internal customers, identifying best practices to address key business challenges and opportunities. Develop recommendations on pricing and positioning strategies. Manage various marketing activities in support of the capital transformation, including innovation center support, developing a comprehensive approach to support conversations with economic customers, creating new marketing materials, updating demo materials, visiting accounts, and attending industry tradeshows to gain market insight and represent the company. Manage third-party partnerships to ensure alignment with business objectives and foster collaborative relationships that drive mutual growth. Required qualifications: BA/BS required 5+ years of product management or applicable work experience Deep clinical expertise in medical device capital, service and IVUS image interpretation, process or demonstrated ability to quickly develop expertise. Exceptional Interpersonal Skills, including: (1) the ability to earn and maintain the respect of senior leaders; and (2) the ability to respectfully disagree with senior leaders and/or generate buy-in around delicate and sometimes unpopular conclusions and mandates Ability to influence senior leadership while maintaining their respect through excellent communication and interpersonal skills and creating compelling, cohesive, and succinct presentations Ability to work in a fast-paced environment as an individual contributor and effectively in a team-based environment while managing multiple priorities. Position requires ~15-25% travel (ie, approximately 2-4 domestic trips quarterly). Preferred qualifications: Master's Degree/MBA Medical device experience strongly preferred.
