Natcast (short for The National Center for the Advancement of Semiconductor Technology) is a new, purpose-built, non-profit entity created to operate the National Semiconductor Technology Center (NSTC) consortium, established by the CHIPS Act of the U.S. government. Working at Natcast represents an opportunity to help extend America's leadership in semiconductor technology, significantly reduce the time and cost of moving from idea to commercialization, and build and sustain a semiconductor workforce development ecosystem. In this role you will drive operational excellence for Natcast's Public Policy initiatives, orchestrating strategic engagement with government stakeholders while managing high-impact events that advance America's semiconductor leadership. Every day you will coordinate complex policy activities, manage critical stakeholder relationships, and ensure seamless execution of strategic initiatives that support Natcast's mission on Capitol Hill and beyond. To thrive in this role you must combine political acumen with operational excellence, demonstrating the ability to both understand policy landscapes and deliver sophisticated engagement programs. Collaborating with the VP of Public Policy, this role requires sophisticated understanding of government affairs combined with strong operational expertise to ensure effective engagement with policy stakeholders. Responsibilities: Manage strategic operations for Public Policy department Coordinate activities with House and Senate calendars Orchestrate preparation of policy briefing materials Plan and execute high-impact policy events Develop comprehensive event strategies and budgets Manage stakeholder engagement programs Oversee Capitol Hill and state-level initiatives Coordinate cross-functional policy activities Drive departmental strategic initiatives Ensure operational excellence in policy execution Manage special projects for VP of Public Policy Required Skills and Experience: 3+ years experience in government affairs operations Strong understanding of legislative processes Excellence in event management and execution Proven project management capabilities Strong stakeholder management abilities Experience with Capitol Hill operations Budget management expertise Superior organizational skills Strong communication abilities Track record of program success Preferred Skills and Experience: Bachelor's degree in relevant field Exposure to technology policy Knowledge of semiconductor industry Background in federal relations State-level policy experience Ready to advance semiconductor innovation through policy excellence?
