As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for adhering to SOP guidelines, accurately following mix instructions, and ensuring the correct use of ingredients. You will check weights, record lot and bag numbers, practice sanitation on equipment, and maintain a clean work area while performing minor equipment maintenance under supervision. The role involves lifting weights consistently and working in confined spaces. Responsibilities
Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) related to production tasks. Accurately execute written and verbal mix instructions. Ensure the correct usage of ingredients. Check weights and record all lot and bag numbers used. Practice sanitation of equipment and maintain a clean work environment. Perform minor maintenance work on area equipment as needed, under supervision. Consistently lift and shift weights of 50-55 lbs at waist height. Navigate confined spaces, including spiral staircases, due to the building's age. Work in non-air-conditioned areas, which can be hot. Utilize heights such as catwalks above machinery. Essential Skills
Ability to consistently lift 50-55 lbs. Willingness to train for forklift usage in the future. Previous experience in machine operation within manufacturing settings. Experience with batch mixing and recipe reading. Mechanical inclination for performing basic maintenance tasks. Legible reading and writing skills. Mathematical skills involving decimals and fractions. Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.75/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
