Position Summary:
The Patient Care Tech under direction of a registered nurse, performs various patient care activities necessary in caring for a patient or a group of patients and performs clerical/receptionist services as required. The PCT will assist nursing personnel in all areas while complying with established policies, procedures, and standards of practice in conjunction with all members of the healthcare team. Understands level of independent practice and performs duties with appropriate supervision. Has a service oriented attitude toward patients, physicians, families, and coworkers.
Job Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• STNA Certification required
• Notary Public designation for completion of birth certificates - can obtain after hire
• CPR Certification
• Flexibility to float to other departments within hospital as needed
