Senior Manager - Operations Strategy - Last Mile Delivery - Trust and Safety
We are seeking a strategic and experienced Senior Manager to lead the Strategy function for the Safety team within Walmart's Last Mile Delivery (LMD) Trust & Safety (T&S) organization. This role is responsible for shaping and executing safety-focused strategies, driving cross-functional collaboration, and leading initiatives that enhance operational safety and risk prevention. The ideal candidate will be a visionary leader with a strong background in strategic planning, data analysis, and stakeholder engagement. Strategic Planning & Execution Design and manage safety protocols tailored to LMD operations. Analyze incident and claims data to identify trends and prevention opportunities. Implement prevention strategies based on cross-functional collaboration. Advise on operational changes from a safety and risk mitigation perspective. Lead strategic initiatives that align with organizational safety goals. Cross-Functional Collaboration & Intelligence Partner across teams to gather intelligence and shape safety strategies. Collaborate with stakeholders to align safety initiatives with business objectives. Translate insights into actionable strategies that drive measurable impact. Team Leadership & Development Lead, mentor, and develop a team of safety and security professionals. Foster an engaging and inclusive team environment focused on innovation and excellence. Drive team performance through clear goals, regular feedback, and professional development opportunities. What You'll Bring: 6+ years of experience in safety, strategic planning, operations, asset protection, risk management, or related fields. Proven experience leading teams and managing complex strategic initiatives. Strong analytical, organizational, and decision-making skills. Proficiency in tools such as Copilot, Excel, and PowerPoint. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead multiple strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment. Experience working with cross-functional teams in high-exposure environments. Demonstrated ability to influence and collaborate with senior leadership.
