Events Assistant
Events Assistant Location: Raleigh, NC Position Type: Full-Time Job Overview: We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Events Assistant to join our dynamic events team. In this role, you will have the opportunity to support the planning, coordination, and execution of various events, from corporate meetings and trade shows to social gatherings and community outreach initiatives. Key Responsibilities
Assist in the planning and coordination of events from inception to completion. Manage logistical details including venue setup, catering, and transportation. Maintain communication with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of services and materials. Assist with event marketing, including social media promotion and attendee registration. Coordinate event materials, signage, and promotional items to enhance attendee engagement. Support the event team during execution, troubleshooting any issues that arise on-site. Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field preferred. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to multitask effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with clients and vendors. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and event management software. A proactive attitude with the willingness to take initiative and work independently. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required by event schedules. Benefits
