Human Services Program Supervisor
Incumbent will support the delivery of Women, Infants and Children (WIC) program vendor services. The vendor services ensure WIC participants receive the benefits they need and that the authorized vendors provide a seamless service for participants to redeem benefits. These food benefits provide healthy, nutritious foods to our most vulnerable populations supporting improved nutrition and health. This position will support this goal through establishing collaborative plans and programs to improve population health and by increasing the number of children and pregnant women with access to healthy and nutritional food. Incumbent may serve as the liaison for the program to outside interests and may perform technical functions as necessary to meet the needs of the recipients of the program. Minimum Qualifications Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, leadership technique, service delivery, and coordination of people and resources.
Knowledge of administrative procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, and experience with software packages, such as SAS, SQL, ArcGIS, Access & Excel.
Extensive knowledge of WIC Vendor Relations, to include store authorization, vendor monitoring and compliance, and training
Knowledge of redemption trends and analysis
Experience in contract administration. Additional Considerations Experience in the design, development, implementation and evaluation of health programs
Demonstrated experience as a supervisor supervising multiple programs and a variety of complex tasks.
