POSITION SUMMARY:
The Quality Inspector will play a critical role in ensuring that products manufactured within the energy sector meet the required quality standards, safety regulations, and compliance requirements. This position involves inspecting raw materials, in-process components, and finished products, using various inspection techniques and equipment to guarantee the highest level of quality assurance. The inspector will collaborate closely with production teams, engineers, and management to maintain consistency and improve quality across manufacturing processes.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
(The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may.")
• Conducts visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished goods to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. • Accurately records inspection results, document non-conformances, and generate reports to track quality issues. Ensures detailed records are maintained for traceability and compliance. • Ensures that all products and processes comply with industry standards, local, state, and federal regulations. • Monitors and verifies the effectiveness of corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) for non-conforming materials or processes and collaborate with teams to resolve quality issues. • Assists Quality Manager in identifying areas for process improvement and participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance manufacturing efficiency and product reliability. • Inspects incoming products upon arrival and assures they are on par with applicable drawings and standards. • Monitors test line for irregularities and begin NCR process. • Ensures that inspection tools and equipment are regularly calibrated and maintained to provide accurate measurements. • Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
Qualifications
POSITION REQUIREMENTS:
• High school diploma required.
• 5-7 years of experience in a manufacturing environment required.
• Ability to read and interpret P&ID's, fabrication, and electrical drawings.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES:
• Excellent communication and time management skills.
• Ability to exhibit a keen perception in all areas of quality assurance.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Ability to work within cross-functional team environments.

Work hours may include or includes early morning, late evenings, and weekends, depending on business necessity.
