Machine Operator - 2nd & 3rd Shift

Join our team as a Packaging Machine Operator on the 2nd shift, where you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of sleeving and packaging machines. Your skills will contribute to a safe, efficient, and high-quality production environment. Responsibilities

Operate and clean sleeving and packaging machines according to procedures. Ensure sleeves are correctly placed on bottles and prevent bottleneck issues. Verify date codes for daily runs. Communicate machine status and quality issues to supervisor or Plant Manager. Relieve other Machine Operators during machine downtime or job re-assignment to maintain departmental efficiency. Perform basic troubleshooting and routine maintenance on machines immediately. Report to workstation on time, wearing proper attire, and assist in setting up work area. Pass the forktruck exam. Perform duties in compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and Sanitization Standard Operating Procedures (SSOP) meeting quality and safety standards. Conduct behavior in compliance with company policies. Perform additional duties as assigned. Essential Skills

2+ years of machine operating experience 1+ years of GMP experience Experience with production, packaging machines, filling machines, and blow molding. Additional Skills & Qualifications

Work the 3rd shift from 4pm-12am in a GMP environment, requiring hair nets, beard nets, smocks, and steel toes. Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
